One who is true to himself develops the attributes needed to survive errors, to keep marching on a road that seems to be without end, and to rise above disappointments and distress."
Thomas S. Monson
I recently discovered that not only am I directionally impaired, but I am sadly technology challenged as well. As a result I was unable to post on our blog recently due to a computer glitch and decided that maybe it was meant to be. (No one but me really benefited from our postings anyway.) Yet to be true to myself and to accomplish what I had originally set out to do (to share our missionary experiences with interested family and friends) I needed to rise above disappointments and distress.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
The Idaho Boise Mission received our first order of 25,000 additional light the world pass-along cards to share. Unfortunately the cards were not bundled so we had to separate them into equal portions of 25 to provide for all 25 Stake Presidencies in our mission who had requested them to share in their communities.
LIGHTtheWORLD
Since a new star first appeared above Bethlehem, Christmas has been a season of light, reminding us that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. Together, we can celebrate His birth by making the world a brighter place. All we have to do is follow Him—His life, His example, and His teachings. In doing so, we can help #LIGHTtheWORLD.
Wishing you a great week!
