"Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education-Martin Luther King Jr.

Education is an investment that brings great rewards
and will open the doors of opportunity!
On Sunday we discovered that the Poinciana Branch church had suddenly been transformed into...

C.S. Lewis once was quoted as saying,
"Education without values, as useful as it is,
seems rather to make man a more clever devil."

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop." Confucius
"Whatever the cost of our libraries, the price is cheap compared to an ignorant nation." Walter Cronkite
Birthday boys and college graduates, Elder Nielson and Elder Boynton at our recent Senior District Meeting!
Sister Trainer Leaders assigned to the Lake Nona Ward, Sister Jackson, from Provo, UT and Sister Kreiberg from Denmark

Brigham Young once said, "You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation."

Assistants to the President, Elder Patten, from Salem, UT
and Elder Flood, from Kaysville, UT out for our final send off to Elder Patten who departs for home on Wednesday :(

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
 Nelson Mandela

Elder Flood being silly as  he "educates" Elder Patten
in the proper way to back out the car.

It's your birthday, shout hooray!
We want to sing to you today.
One year older and "wiser" too.  Happy Birthday to you!
Friday was Elder Nielson's 67th birthday, so he blew out his candle and made a wish!
Assistants to the President Elder Flood and Elder Patten taking care of transfer business-
obviously we are having a problem letting go.
Two brand new Totota Corollas to add to the Mission fleet.
Sister Jensen, Dayse Canales, Jovanni Canales and Sister Grosland
 at the Canale's recent baptism.

"Now we know that we must also, witness faith in Jesus' word, be baptized to show obedience, as was Jesus Christ, our Lord."

Elder Enamorado, Boris Valdes and Elder Stewart at Boris' baptism
Sister Jensen and Elder Stewart sang "I am a Child of God" in both Spanish and English and Sister Grosland accompanied them at the baptism of Dayse, Jovanni and Boris-amazing!

While "sight seeing" okay "people watching" at the Millenia Mall on our "P Day" we discovered beautiful butterflies as we rode up the escalator at Neiman Marcus.  Which got us thinking about our granddaughters.
Who got us thinking about...
Our daughters!

Who then got us thinking about our grandsons, all ten of them,
especially when we saw these signs in Pottery Barn.
We thought either one of them would look perfect hanging on their bedroom walls.
Of course don't even get us started on Sister quotes :)

In closing...it's time we all went...
Education is an important part of Heavenly Father's plan to help us become more like him.  He wants us to educate our minds and to develop our skills and talents, our power to act well in our responsibilities, and our capacity to appreciate life.
We are never too old to stop learning!

Wishing each of our grandkids a great new school year!

Make it a great week! See you later...
