3/5/17 For after much tribulation come the blessings

 Wherefore the day cometh that ye shall be crowned with much glory;
the hour is not yet, but it is nigh at hand.

Transfer time again in the mission and change is hard.
New to the mission, transferred to a new assigned area, new companion, new leadership responsibilities...
In this world of "opposition in all things" (2 Nephi 2:11), life sometimes seems unfair.
But we have faith, put our trust in the Lord, smile, and do our very best.

The Meridian Sisters moved just around the corner

The Oakley Sisters moved to a location closer to their assigned area so
the Elders assigned to the Burley area helped us to close down their house.

Just stopped by to see one of our favorite moving helper's now assigned to Paul, ID.
Not sure what we are going to do without him.
Possible home for the Emerson area Sisters

Before and after pictures
PS, the cabinets were filled with "stuff"
Their house was being sold so we had to relocate our Twin Falls Elders from here...
 to there...

It's amazing what you can accomplish with a little help from your "friends" in Twin Falls
Just a little surprise visit to some accommodating Elders, also in Twin Falls
We stopped to pick up a bike in Jerome and transport it to Mountain Home.
These Elders, Trainee and Trainer, were happy to lend a hand.

On the Home Front

Apparently it was a week of firsts...

Grandson Wade, on his "first" yacht

First time at church for grand daughter, Lily        First pair of big girl shoes for grand
                                              daughter, Kahlen
First time "spring" included a snow flurry
First time our tulips and daffodils peeked out to welcome spring.

May we all face our challenges with faith, endurance, and trust in our Heavenly Father and in His plan for each of us. Remember, it’s not what happens to us that matters; it’s how we handle what happens that makes all the difference!
